Our Teachers

Meet the Teachers of Music Together Flemington

Our teachers come from all sorts of backgrounds, but they’re united by a common passion: Sharing music with children and families in Flemington!

All teachers have successfully completed the live Music Together® Teacher Training, which is built on research in early childhood and music development. We keep our skills fresh through workshops every semester and advanced trainings offered by Music Together Worldwide.

Emily is the director of Music Together Flemington and has been teaching Music Together classes since 2013. She has an enthusiasm and excitement for making music, as well as a love for working with children. She holds a B.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education and has had experience with teaching children in both the classroom and the home setting. Some of Emily’s great joys in life involve singing and songwriting, playing the guitar and piano, and sharing adventures with her beloved family. Emily is overjoyed to be able to share her passion for making music with children in Hunterdon County! She is the happy wife of Shawn and the proud mother of Mabel, Harvey, and Bram.

  Kymbery Gardner, MBA, MT-BC

Kymberly first became a Music Together teacher in 2009.  As a Music Therapist, she had a wonderful opportunity to be a part of the team that developed Music Together within Therapy.  She also worked with Trenton Community Music School, providing Music Therapy within Special Needs Preschool classes using Music Together.

She has been teaching Music Together Mixed-Age classes for the past year and a half at several New Jersey locations.  Kym is super excited to teach in Flemington since it is so close to her home in Ringoes.  Kym’s two-year-old daughter and husband love singing Music Together songs all day long, no matter what.  Creating opportunities for families to make music together, learn and grow, and deepen their connections are some of the many reasons that Kym is so very excited to bring Music Together to your family.
